knee dents would be nicer but im not gonna do it to such a small tank, id like to get my hands on a cb500T tank for that.
the other wings i had were too modern

I liked the modern ones too, but I think I like these better. With the newer verson 'wings' I never thought "knee pads". But you put on the vintage wings and I immediatly thought 'knee pads" (i think the knee pads have a vintage look) So something must be working ;D Troy

LOL yeah i know right, 1JZ powered cressida, R33/s13/vert, cafe bike, nismo 350Z and i rock a CA18det fastback :p im not a fan of the SR20det.....unless it has a NEO VVL head on it ;)

I love the older logo, i'd be all over one for my project.

A CA guy? hardly ever run into those these days, I'm personally a rb20 man, i just don't get the 26 boys. Rocking a Cefiro.

That's not the kind of fork brace you want anyhow. I think they called that a tweak bar or something like that, and it was more often found on extended rake forks.

You want a fork brace that connects the lower moving parts of the forks, to keep them moving up and down at exactly the same time - especially when cornering.

yes i do, and ive been looking and have found nothing. i did however buy this to cover up that nasty rust :p


PS: i might go RB20 next unless i can afford RB25

People usually sell the fork brace with the front fender. Personally, I think the stock fork brace is pretty ugly by itself and think a cooler looking one culd be fabbed up or at least cover the stock one with something.

Do you guys have a paint booth? I built a cafe XS 400 last year and I want to get it painted better then the spray paint I did myself. Rims and all. Tell Matt I said Hi!

I still sometimes regret selling my s13.. It was a white coupe with almost no rust (one spec on the edge of the sunroof if I remember right.) It had working HUD (as long as it was warm out lol) no major accidents from what I could tell, 5spd ofc, ect. The interior was a mess though; the carpet was rotted out, someone removed any removable panel and spray painted it white, the seat had the typical rip, and the dash was cracked. Oh well, the past is the past :)

btw, I liked the new wings, but the old school ones are pretty awesome.

Im down to ride as soon as my seat gets back from bodywork and i need taller shocks in the rear for the exhaust clearance. Bible wants me to ride out his way but thats a hike. Ill get on petty some more about getting his shit done. Nah im not on ziptied anymore :( i wasnt active enough with posting since my car broke and had no money to fix it, so they kicked me out. I miss the porn :(
what do you got thats ready to ride the xs400? when it warms up we need to get a posse together and ride somewhere. i meet up with some guys and ride to FDR, strap our boards to our bikes and hit up the mini ramp there, which reminds me....i wanna fab up a skateboard rack thats removable
