Where did you find this good deal? I'm looking for some myself and haven't really been able to find one's for the right price. I've been following your build from the beginning, just haven't commented yet. I like you bike a lot I have the same ideas about making a cafe racer out a modern style bike. Personally i liked the goldish color you had on before the blue but you have done a great job with this bike.

I actually got lucky and found them on this site. Airtech has got some nice ones as well and if I didnt find the ones Im getting I would have eventually gone with these http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/miscpages/handlebars.html

I got the same ones as airtech for $50 on ebay from some guy 250champ or something like that. They were really nice.

well got some more work done
first a lil mock up with the side plates and tail section

and after laying the base coat

still gotta do the white stripes but promised to take the wife to dinner tonight so that will have to wait. also took off the bars in wait of the clip ons arrival.

very nice! may i suggest maybe sanding the fins on the engine and painting them the same color blue in a high temp paint? i think it would look good. its your build so dont go with what i say if you dont like it...

they just wire in (normal blk wire/ red wire). I used one for running light and one for brake. they are 3m adhesive backed so it easy to mount them (just peel and stick). hope this helps

Alright got the stripping done just gotta do the pin-stripping and the clear.

Clip ons should be here Thursday (thx arcspeedworks) and upholstery is suppose to be here by the end of the week. Cant wait to button this baby up.

Clip ons arrived!!! but its beyond windy today and impossible to do anything on the bike today so it will have to wait for some better weather
