The SkyTeam 'Ace' Resource

For anyone with the stock deni pz27 carb, this site has exactly what you're after for tuning the idle. @joeylimzy if you take the bike for a ride to warm it up, only make small adjustments and take your time it should be easy.

Fabricated a new numberplate holder and added a led running/turn signal strip light.

Nice and tidy now.

Easy peasy! (almost)

I used some 10mm bolts I had on hand, but the critical thing is having about 19mm measurement (but less than 20mm) across the diagonal on the head.

Remove top triple clamp and undo fork cap plugs. These can be really tight due to a small amount of rust.
Put nut-and-bolts assemblies on top of fork springs, and replace fork plugs. This is the hard part, as it's difficult to force the springs down and turn the plugs at the same time. Do whatever you have to do (including copious swearing) to get them back into place, but don't neglect to use some type of anti-seize on the threads.

Stuck getting the fork caps off - how do you brace the fork itself in order to get the cap off?

u might want to try standing in front of the bike and pull the fork toward yourself against the bike a little as you are loosening the fork cap off.

As mine was poorly done from stock (i think), one side of the fork was assembled slightly at a angle against the triple clamp so i was having a hard time getting it off too.

Yeah no luck, I'll put a bit of wd40 on and see how she goes tomorrow. they just won't budge, and the fork itself turns. no way to stop the fork turning!

Why not push both triples down the fork tube enough to clear the thread portion of the top cap and then tighten both triples in order to stop the fork tube from spinning?

Yeah our top triple has a top bolt into the fork cap but doesn't have a side tightening bolt onto the fork

The lower does so will try and tighten that a bit more.

It's a test to see if you have enough patience, ingenuity, and strength to be worthy of owning an 'Ace'!

I ended up with a classic case of bloodied knuckles undoing the left cap.
