    1977 CB750 K7 Restore/ Mod avec mon Pere.

Ah rad looks like you're really making some progress! Depending on what kind of modifications you're planning, make sure to get all the fab work done before you send it off to get coloured in. You'll see most people on here do away with the majority of the frame's tabs, airbox, side covers etc...

    Honda CB750K frame cutting

As far as I can tell, you can't just swap them out, a DOHC engine like yours won't just slide in to a SOHC frame, you'd need to make new motor mounts all round and you'd still have to figure out chain line too. When it comes to customs a lot of it is about how much you're willing to fabricate to...

    Honda CB750K frame cutting

You'll have to remake the whole subframe, the one in the photograph is an earlier SOHC model, yet the frame has been modified specifically for that build. The rear-end is easy enough to make yourself, you can buy pre-bent hoops for frames from places such as Dime City Cycles...

    Correct way to de-tab?

Yeah they aint cheap but they last longer than you'd think.

    Correct way to de-tab?

You'll actually find contrasting theories about hand protection, although gloves will stop shards of metal from sinking into your skin, they do pose a threat of getting dragged in to the grinder, always use well-fitting gloves with nothing loose on them. In terms of cutting tabs, the best way...

I use this site for info mainly, no thread, I started one on the UK SOHC Four forum but I never update it, just ask the odd question here and there. It's a good site if you need info/parts and the guys are super sound and will go well out of their way for you...

What does everyone do for their "real" job?

Deek, it's nowhere near as interesting as it sounds, the money's mainly in commercials so that's the majority of what the company does, although they've just opened an office in LA so I assuming they'll be taking on some Hollywood projects in the near future. My job is to cut offline edits...

Cafe racers at the "Ace" and thoughts on hipsters

"A motorcycle is an expensive penis enlarger that doesn’t work." is the part that sums it up nicely. I appreciate the sleuth work on your behalf to condemn DicE as a hipster product, but really, don't take it too seriously man, it's supposed to be fun, remember? ;D

Cafe racers at the "Ace" and thoughts on hipsters

This should aptly sum it up, from the best writing in motorcycle culture, found in the last pages of DiCE. Dear Dr. Glory, I’ve been a fan of motorcycle culture for n few years. I started out with a small Honda Cafe Racer but currently ride a kiler old school Pan bobber. I’ve noticed lately...
