Question for you gents, asI haven't been able to track down any threads on this precise issue. I would like to replace my battery in the CB350 twin. I have a "wet" battery in there right now, the stock recommended battery. I want to use a sealed maintenance-free battery, for some (hopefully)...
Hey all:
finally have an opportunity to get working on the bike again with this warmer weather. Got some slip on emgo shorty mufflers from DCC (the cheaper ones/not reverse cone or slash cut) for my cb350. I'm looking for some tips on fitting them. I have seen some people weld them up, which...
Gents before posting elsewhere I figured I'd throw these things up here to see if anyone is interested. I can supply pics upon request if interested but I don't have the pics at the moment.
All from a 1972 cb350 twin, I've got a yellow tinted windshield, an engine bar and a combo...
Question for all. I have a running 1972 cb350 twin that is an ongoing project. However, I was looking for a donor engine to rebuild over the winter and to use later on down the road. I found another '72 350 twin on craigslist. I would probably buy it and then part everything out except for...
Looking for a '72 CB350 twin engine to have as a donor and rebuild. Obviously can need rebuilt. I'm in central PA so if anyone in Philly or Harrisburg has anything to offer, I'd love to hear it! Thanks.
Question for you guys. I'm considering making a fiberglass cafe seat w/ a cowl. What I'm struggling with is that I want to keep the tank and side covers and the candy gold is in not too shabby a condition.
What would you guys recommend as a color for the cowl. Unfortunately I'm too...
So I had cracked the housing on my Tacho side-cover (not sure of the actual name). I bought a new one from another member with the housing in perfect condition. Today I went to take the old one off and replace it. I got the old one off with "relative" ease. However, I cannot for the life of...
Anybody have a '72 CB350 lower crankcase. One of the mounting loops on mine busted off and instead of using JB weld, I'm considering completely replacing it. PM me if you've got one affordable. Thanks.
Hey all. Any input on this question is appreciated. As some background, I started with UNI pods (the red ones) installed on my CB350 twin with stock jetting and it was running pretty crappy at high speeds. I bumped up the main and secondary main jets and it seemed to run a bit better...
Hey all:
I'm looking to replace my stock mufflers on the CB350. I've looked around the forum, but would like to hear what you all have actually had success with. I considered the CL high pipes instead, but I think I want to keep the stock headers or go 2-into1. I have the red UNI pods from...
If anyone happens to be parting out a CB 350, my tacho housing cracked where the cable meets the body and I am in need of a new one. Contact me if you've got one to let go. Thanks.
Any recommendations for loosening an axle sleeve. Trying to put some new brakes in and can't get get the axle sleeve to budge, and thus cannot get into the drum. I've tried lube and heat and it will not budge one iota. Thoughts? Thanks.
Isaac
One of my stock carbs no longer has a mixture screw/spring. Not sure where it went or where to get a new one ???. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love to hear them!
Also, if anyone is aware of the most affordable place to get mikuni vm30s and can let me know I'd appreciate it. I don't want...
Is anyone parting out their cb350 twin carbs? I lost my mixture screw for the left carb on a ride the other day apparently. Not sure how that happened. But before I gamble on another rebuild kit (that won't be right), can anyone help me out?
I absolutely cannot get the tappet covers off my bike. They don't look rusted, but it seems like they have never been off or the PO torqued them too far in. Whats the best method to get these off? Torch? Or some kind of liquid? Right now they won't budge and will continue to strip if I keep...
Facts: Replaced points and condensor, reset timing and new plugs. Road probably 45 minutes yesterday and everything was well. Seemed to run better than ever with the new items and stuff. I'm awaiting new Dyna coils and got new spark plug wires.
Symptoms: Today, road out to the grocery and...
