Morning everyone. Been a long while since I have posted, but I wanted to share some pics of my new project. 1978 Wes Cooley GS1000c with light crash damage. Unfortunately no pics of it stock, but we all know what they look like. I have been working on this for the last month or so, but just...
Went ahead and chopped the bike up this weekend by shortening the seat about 6 inches, and rearranging the electrics. New taillight in place as well as side mount licemse plate. Also put the V&H back on. The dual setup just looked way to sloppy
Just redid the swingarm on the green meany. I think it came out a lot better this time. Also instaaled a trailtech vapor, new mirrors, and a new rear tire. The mufflers have been cored out as well. This things ounds bad ass!
Decided to redo the swingarm on the green meany. The first attemp was really an exercise in design and function. I wanted to make it look a bit nicer. Still have a little cleaning up to do. whatcha think

Had some time with the bike today, thought I would post some new pics. She is almost ready for the road (again). Just need to finish up the linkage for the rear sets, and make a mount...

First things first. Where to put the shock. Initially I had it going straight through the swingarm, mounting underneath...
hello all. Its been a long winter and I finally started working on the KZ again. Here are my recent additions.
I fabbed up a kinda new exhaust. I was happy with the performance of the V&H, but not really the look of it. So the new exhaust is kind of a frankenstein creation, V&H down pipe...
Whats the best way to get this beast out of the frame by myself without any assistance? Any advise/shortcuts would be great before I drop it on my toe!
thx
Just wanted to post a few new pics. Cleaned up the triple tree and painted everything black that used to be copper colored. i think it looks a lot better. Plus drilled a few wholes in the tranny cover.
Hey there, went ahead and polished my forks....what a P.I.T.A, but they came out ok, not as good as I had hope though. Anyways..
Made some subtle mods over the past few days, nothing major:
Fabbed up a new pod for my speedo
Need some new ideas for my bike. i can't seem to leave it alone...
