540cc Honda 360 Engine

Well that's an innovative solution that matches the rest of the bike. The manifolds remind me of a DCOE Weber design and they seem to work OK. Jetting that thing might be a challenge, but as long as jets are available it's possible.

Update:
I got the 540 running yesterday with the two bbl. carb. Started right
up and idled nice, revs quick, seems good. Don't need the fuel pump now
as inlet is lower than tank. throttle cable works smooth and clears
everything. Megaphones sound good and the muffler muffles like its
suppose to. Am finishing the wiring and stop light switch, also have to
build a tank hold down. Filed the rear brake and bled the air seems to
work fine, fill the front tomorrow. All going well so far.

Re: 540cc Honda 360 Engine - It's Alive

Update: The bike was ridden for the first time a week and half ago and it sounds and runs good. It's not finished yet, so these are just a preliminary shakedown photos. Stay tuned, more to come as it gets finalized.

Be great to see some clearer pictures but it's always cool to see a rider on a bike. I wasn't sold on the stance originally as some others were too but seeing the bike in these pics, I'm glad I was patient. Can't wait to see some video!!!

I really like this thread because this dude does something outside the box.
I`m in to hear it run,the engine part is what drives me to do this pages, but what iam thinking of the overall looks of this bike is........... different (i did not mention ugly?)
Love the wheelbase and the enginuity(is that a correct english word?)
Nevertheless:I LIKE it a lot

Here's the latest photos of bike, mostly done except for shocks and fork rebuild.

It weighs 310 LBS.

I would guess around 40bhp, but, the torque will be much much higher than stock (I think stock is around 22ft/lbs?)
Dyno run would be real interesting (and allow some 'fine tuning' of carburation)

Not really my cup of tea but I like the fact you built what you wanted!!
I take it back, lol. Now that its all together I dig it. Looks real good with a rider.

Just stumbled into this thread and love the way you approached making a big-bore beast from a cb360....I would expect more than 40bhp, but I'm sure with some fine tuning and adjustments more will come from it. I was excited when I got to page 10 and saw mention of a video coming soon......here we are page 18.....WHERES THE VID MY MAN?!?!? lol.

I had the exact same thought process.
