I’m just going to do it, and document as I go. I did not know the starting point, so thank you for that. Here’s my start. The Allen wrench marks the valve stem. Obviously as I lace around the starting holes rotated, but here’s the first side. Does it matter which side of the rim you start with?
Sorry mate, no help to offer but stopping by to supply moral support by the wheelbarrowful. I laced up a couple of wheels so I know what you’re dealing with, but mine followed a standard pattern. Even that was tricky. Good luck mate.
Guys, I’m proud to say I have laced the front wheel. Irk, I totally did not understand the drawing but you apparently included some sacred geometry/hoo-doo cause after looking at it for a while I started in and got it. I had everything backwards or something, I don’t even know. Honestly, it has been mind numbing. But I saved myself some change. Now just to tru them up and mount the tires. Still waiting on my inner tubes
I’ve got about 40 hours in the wheels alone. I would be the world’s worst bike builder
