Alright after riding this thing for about 100km I decided I didn't like the riding position. So here we go for take 3.
Justin you will like this better.
I have loved the new Indian scouts since they were release but there is no way I could afford one. So I have been sitting and looking at a few of them and taking in style ideas.
I am fairly happy with the front end on this bike style wise so I am planning to leave that alone. I may install the old risers again if I want the bars further back.
I had the old seat foam saved from the stock seat so I cut the passenger section off neatly and removed the toolbox, sissybar and alloy side plates from near the seat.
This has made me a lot happier with the style of the bike. I am thinking of building a rack to go behind the seat. As for the pegs I will reuse the rear sets as forward/mid controls depending on where they fit best. The plan for the seat is to install nutserts into the plastic and use the fender bolts to mount the rear of the seat. The front will use the stock location. The seat pan will be dark brown with black piping and yellow stitching. Provided I like the riding position once I put it together again.
Sorry for the crappy photos
