I had the weld bungs [ Rose joints ] turned down today to fit inside the rear frame tubes for the POC mock up.
Chain line is clear and everything lines up as I'd hoped. The top frame tube position isn't fixed yet, I had planned originally to place the top mountings at the rear of the top tube. I'll get the bottom rails finalised and then decide about the top.
Zip ties and masking tape ..... who needs a welder !!!!!
Not sure where the tank badge is going at the moment [ the seller only had one ], but the seat emblem will go on the back of my saddle. I was going to use the Lycett badges I have, but can't pass this up !!
The single tank badge [ originally side ] doesn't look right on top so i'll hold fire on that and see if I can get a second or even a pair to go on the tank sides.
Think I'm getting more obsessed with this "Phantom" idea ......... just found these on Italian Ebay for 25 euros.
Found this image on the Internet yesterday. I've resized it to fit a UK tax disc holder and I'm now playing with adding the Edoardo Bianchi text. Now I've found this one I'm looking for a 1920's or earlier version.
Bianci seat badge has found a home ! I'll cut the original excess material off where it was simply cut out from a damaged seat.
