Just a word to the wise. You need that rear fender to keep crap and water out of the carbs and off the motor. Call Brett at Glass From the Past and see if he has one that will work for your bike.
What is the distance between the seat surface and the pegs - vertically? 160's and 175s are so small that the seat usually has to be raised slightly to avoid having your knees bent too far and cutting off circulation. Make up a simple subframe from square section aluminum and bolt that to the fame and the seat to that subframe for a little more leg room.

There has to be a neat way to mount that plate under the seat and avoid the chopper vertical plate look.
