Yes fairing needs to move back 200mm. It’s just sitting there for now out of the way. Cr750 fairing.

Looks good, but for some reason the fairing looks more like a slight stretched TD1C Yamaha and not so much like a CR750. Should be a fun P4 (?) project.

How are you coping with the bushfires? Hope you and yours are safe.

Hi mate I’m chopping it and playing with her to fit my fat legs and the bike so it may look a bit different but it came off a cr750 mould.

It’s very smokey here, it’s been extremely hot 40+ some days and the fires have ravaged so much land. The poor wildlife are the main victims, now the survivors have no food cause all the bush has been taken out. so it’s very disheartening.

I'd weld up a simple tube set up like a TZ350 and sue the existing pegs and levers - adjusted to your fit/preference.

On our CB160 and 72's I used to weld a peg into the rear frame downtubes and then fabricated brackets to go from those to the swingarm bolt. That made them more replaceable in case of excess gravity

Screen on just have to fit the top fairing mount. Anyone suggest ideas? I was going to mount it off the top yolk bolt but am open to other ideas like the old 900ss ones. Pics bellow.

Question time brains trust.

I’m running a total loss system on the old girl and am after the best battery to use.

Keep on getting told RC lipo4 4cell ones should be sweet but wanted to see if anyone here is running a similar system with success and what’s the smallest battery I can run.

Also progress halter for a few months due to mini me arriving

Now progress can continue post haste

I'm running a 12v .8ah AGM battery on an XS650 with a PMA and electronic ignition. Pretty flawless and the battery is only about 1.5" x 2.5" x 3".
