put some of these on there

My wife is pregnant for the 4th time in 6 years, so I've kinda got a "thing" for preggo chicks. I'm afraid those stirrups would distract me and make me crash more than my forward footboards will.

I'm in the final days of a biker build off on another forum and I'm trying to get into a show during the Austin motogp, so progress is necessary. I Made a bit of final progress tonight. With only 2 frustrations.

Frustration #1 was that I trusted the spring chain tensioner could adjust for 2 links. I was wrong. I should have put an adjustable tensioner on the axle plate. That was stupid and lazy., l will order a sprocket 1 tooth bigger as a work around, but I will have to add some adjusters later.

Frustration #2 was the front brakes. I ordered a new pads, shoes, front line and caliper rebuild kit and master. The rear brakes are great. The front line I ordered arrived as a rear line, the bolts holding the pads are seized and stripped and one piston of the caliper is frozen, but I can't get the pads out to rebuild the thing.. Luckily a honda caliper isn't hard to come by.

But I also managed to hook up the radiator, and the new reeds and polish the carb.

I'm a sprocket and a caliper away from riding this beast, it ain't gonna stop me now.

Oh I also built this brass trim ring for my embossed blue glass stop light.

Ha, nothing got done worth the price of a photo.

How about this selfie of how a real man brushes his beard.

good luck gettin into The Handbuilt Show,I'll be there!!

It's a long shot at best. They have been announcing some big names. My only chance is they have 130 spots, and did most submissions by invitation.

Oh sweet. I saw that. Glad to know they are into choppers/ bobbers and not just cafe racers. The1show was fairly diverse last year. But I know the Portland guys aren't involved this year. They are announcing some big talent, should be a great show.,

To your earlier post about the chain;

Couldn't you just remove a link from the chain? Maybe I'm not understanding the issue.

I haven't cut the chain yet so I can remove as many links as I want. But when I pull the ends together and match the inner links it is too loose. If it try to pull it to the next inner link it bottoms out the tensioner and won't connect. I think it will have plenty of tension I just need to have a way to adjust length. It's totally my fault, I should have found a way to add an adjuster.

The problem with the adjuster was that the frame tube wraps around the axle plate so I need to have it push against the axle instead of pull.

Yeah I'm gonna order one of those as well as a 1 tooth bigger sprocket. If I cant adjust I at least gotta have options

Guess it's too late to make an eccentric bushing for rear axle?
