Dirty Dan's 350F Build

Re: Dirty Dan's 350F Build - T.C.B.

CONGRATS! You might want to check the routeing of the throttle cable,I had to try a couple different paths before mine would work freely. Make sure it doesn't bind with the bars turned to full lock both directions to the right and left...
She sounds mean!

Congrats man! A motor starting after a rebuild is a glorious noise!

You're right about the wiring being easy to jump.

I'm still shaking with excitement...

I DROVE IT. First time moving under it's own power since I started the project. It was dark out and I didn't want to plug in the headlight/taillight/signals so I just said fuck it and had somebody follow me with their brights on :p

I think I'll have to tune the carbs a little bit... but it's drive-able!!!

Shit... What am I going to do with my time now?!

Oh, Hoosier Daddy... I've got full lock left and right, good lookin' out, that would've been bad to find out otherwise while I was driving!

No... Still haven't cut the tabs :-[

Waiting on a parts bike that has a bobbed rear fender I may use, I don't want to cut off anything that I may be able to mount it to.

Anyone know of an aftermarket fender (shorty fiberglass or something) that will fit a cb350? I've only been able to dig up stuff for 750 forks

Got my mitts on that bobbed rear fender+light i mentioned in my last post. Gonna make this work.

I'm sure this thread will see some updates somewhat soon... Haven't really touched the bike all winter.

Going to figure out a new seat situation, this one just isn't long enough or comfy enough for me anymore. Think I may go with one of these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CAFE-ROAD-RACE-SEAT-160-175-250-305-350-CB-CL-RD-/150770364595?hash=item231a9d30b3&item=150770364595&pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr

Then bend up a rear hoop that contours along the back of the seat.

Thinking I may go clip-ons and rear-sets this season too, but I'll need to address the exhaust as the rear-sets definitely won't fit with the current setup. We'll see! I'm working on my T250 too so... gotta allocate money.

The seat was a custom item, marla_do. Talked about it a bit earlier in this thread if you wanna check it out.

nice! i made my seat out of an old skateboard! i cut the nose off and then padded and leathered it up. sowks like a charm! im going to put rear sets on mine once i get more money, i also my clubmans just ten minutes ago :D its all coming together.
