Installed a fancy new dyna ignition on my RD for Barber. Looks like one of the modules decided to die on me soon after the install. :

Anyone have one or a know a source between TX and AL? Looking for the Dyna S module.

This is now the second electronic ignition I've been through in the past month. The last one was DOA.

Nice, I know Thomas has a tent for me to borrow. I packed a good sleeping bag.
I'm trying to figure out if I can save cash on a motel by finding some free camping on the way down Wednesday night. I figure I can make it down to Tennessee by nightfall, so that's where I'm scouting.

Anyone live near I-75 in Tennessee that can point me in the right direction?

Chattanooga has a lot of parks and places. I bet you could jump in somewhere and camp the night away. If you were coming through Indiana tomorrow my backyard is open for tents Our group is heading out Thursday morning with an expected 8hr trip from our location(Indianapolis).

Trying to figure out which tools to pack :-\.....Got a pretty well rounded compliment of hand tools but no fabrication tools packed.
Got the bike prepped and ready to load. ;D
Packing clothes in the morning, and loading the bike and heading out after Kelly gets off work tomorrow. 8)

Maybe have one overnighted to Kiley's so its waiting on you? I feel your pain though. Been dealing with frying transistors (my fault) failing coils, even milling rotors so they fit a little better etc. Not Dyna though. Normally Dyna is plug and play without problems. Any idea why yours are failing?
Have you checked primary ohms on coils?
Just make sure to have all high tension wires attached to sparkplugs and grounded if you turn motor over with ignition on. Can fry transistors. Don't ask how I know
