I'm sitting in the shop guys, where are you?
I'm about to change the oil on the truck at noon, wire some trailer lights, and load up my camp gear along with bike. 24 hrs to go for me. Come on Thursday Morn.

Bike is out front, gear on the front porch, just waiting for Kemp.

Louisville KY tonight it looks like - some of Kemp's racer buddies are on their way down as well so that's the meeting spot.

Tim in Bell thread:

So, quick update on the bell.

Unfortunately getting it to Alabama was going to be obscenely expensive ($70) and anything less expensive wouldn't have made it in time. Due to the holiday weekend here in Canada even getting it from Alberta to Ontario was impossible in time.

So the bell will miss Barber this time around.

Seeing as the bell is in Canada already, I'm hijacking it for a very short side trip to Toronto if people don't mind I'll take it for a post-Barber spin in Toronto and then send it on its way - is it going to New Zealand next?

Me:

What about a COD? I'll put a $10 Canadian (worth more) in the book, and if there are 8 or 9 others who pitch in it can be there on Friday at lunch (says the post master)

I was quoted $90 for next day shipping

Bikes are loaded, bag packed, one more work day to get behind me!! It's gonna be the longest day!! :p

Heading out around 6:30pm tonight from Oakville, Ontario with Seaglider. We're gonna book it through the night and maybe meet up with the boys in Louisville, KY tomorrow morning in order to roll in to 'Bama all together.

18 to 20 hours on the road!! ;D Can't wait!! :D

I'm ready.

I officially hate all of you...............................................well not really but I am super jealous y'all are going without me. I at least am getting a little trip with the wofe for our anniverary and if weather permits it will be on 2 wheels. Have fun, drink beers (lots) and take a shitload of pics.

oh and when they call my name for the 750 prize txt me asap and I will jump on a plane to go ride it home. HA!

God.. I'm not even REMOTELY ready... It's so horrible, but I've had a hard time sharing everyone's excitement for Barber week.. Just so stressed out.

It will all be good as soon as I get on the road.... I hope.

Packed and ready....

Don't tell my wife.

Still have to get the beer, an icechest, extra ratchet straps (just in case)... clean my bike, load the bikes, do laundry, pack...
I'm glad I took off of work tomorrow ;)

Hey guys, Fix has a problem with his bike around Cincinnati, I'm tring to find him some help. Tim(kioskguy) live in the area. can anyone be able to get a hold of him to see if he can help. If he's not already left for Barber.

Front fender is sorted and the bikes are ready to load. Thinking about sneaking out of work tomorrow at noon to get a jump on the trip. I'm really looking forward to meeting up with friends, new and old.

Just called Tim and filled him in. I passed his number along to Mike (Fix). He has a leaky petcock bolt. Hopefully he can find something to get it fixed.

Thanks alot man and I'm sure Mike thanks you!!!

If it's a weeper, wrap it good with teflon tape. If it's a gusher, find a fire house. They have a putty they use to seal fuel tank punctures (or atleast the ones around here do).

Good luck Fix. Thoughts are with ya brotha ;)

Yep, I've got him. He's going to spend the night in a motel and he's on his way to Walmart to see what kinda materials he can use from there tonite. I may take him to the nearby Yamaha dealer in the AM if he needs it. But never fear... his nickname is FIX after all. ;) Worst case scenario I'll trailer him down with me tomorrow night. - Cheers
