Drive shaft is done. It is a bit longer than I would like. Debated make a shorter solid shaft but I like the fudge factor a u joint gives me. I still may make one anyway. Here is the mock up and generally where the wheelbase will fall.
I remember back when Honda came out w/ the Valkyrie and they went w/ six individual carbs (throttle bodies?) on the thing. That little beast would look pretty good w/ six stacks peeking out behind the roll bar.
I just found this amazing project! I like the earlier version too! The fender flares don’t look right, even though they are probably better. I’m with ridesolo, the stacks behind the roll bar would be perfect!
I really debated using a Valkyrie motor but it doesn't have reverse and hp and torque are essentially the same although the Valkyrie revs higher. Looked in to swapping to Valkyrie carbs but not really viable. Here is a mock up scaled rear section and a pic with me to show the size of it.

I wasn't sure about the numbers between the Valkyrie and the Wing, and it seems pretty obvious that you've done lots and lots of research but I figured I'd better throw it out there just in case. If memory serves it seems like the Valk had different cams to get the different rev profile. I also remember reading that Honda managed to get it though DOT inspections w/ straight through exhaust pipes, maybe there's a difference there as well. Didn't mean to throw a wrench into the works... carry on.
