Overall... the bike is great... but the suspension is baaffft!!
The rear sags so bad that the shock bottoms out at the mere hint of a bump. The front fork dives when you grab even a small handful of brakes. The sliders compresses nearly all the way to the bottom triple clamp. My ground clearance is marginal at best and pretty much non-existent over big bumps or with the binders clamped on. Woe to you if you hit a bump in the middle of a panic stop!!
It's amazing that the bike handles as well as it does with the mushy suspension. It goes around corners without a wiggle or a wobble and no inkling of the dreaded "hinge-in-the-middle" tank slappers. I experienced enough of those back in the day, to have "super toned" sphincter muscles to this day.
However, a "fix" is on the way!! ;D ;D
Plans are in the works for both ends that should see me in good shape in time for Barber 2012!!

Ya!! When I saw that on the video, I went right out to see if it was just hanging on by a thread or what!! It was tight as can be!
It's just the wavy video!
That said, you should have seen the camera moving with the vibrations on the tank mount, especially at idle!! I'm actually amazed that the video is anywhere near as clear as it is! 8)

Yup.
I like it. I'm no video or tech geek, so for me to be able to use it means it works easily enough. I've heard horror stories about the standard mounting systems that come with it, but to date I've had no serious problems.
I'm new to video editing too, so I have a great deal to learn. I only got it to have some simple video of my own.
So far, so good!

More good news! My bank account is hurting big time! My suspension parts are here ahead of schedule! ;D I'm super busy this week, so I can't make any progress on that right away. Next week should see the Mongrel wearing some serious "suspenders"! 8)

Well... this is getting kinda pricey for a "Mongrel"!!
Going on tonight. Should be a "bolt on" process.
The front end gets RaceTech internals, w/o new springs. They're on back order. We'll just stiffen up the stockers.
