I saw you give it to me and forget that nasty shock LOL :D

Thats a big bummer , is the bottom mount able to be switched on the shock ?

It's a bummer for sure. I was supposed to be riding with some of my Triples buddies. The first ride with them on the Mongrel since the beast has been back on the road. :( I guess it wasn't meant to be. :p

The mount appears to be removable, so I'm hopeful that we can get something that works from the Penske distributor. A call will be made tomorrow. :(

Ya, that's the plan. My worry is that it won't be ready for Barber. :mad: We've worked so hard to have it ready...

... I'll really be annoyed if it isn't ready. :p

Thank you Sir! :D I think, if memory serves me, it's "2003 Kawasaki Racing Green". The "green" changes subtly from year to year apparently. :)

There are so many cool builds on this forum, it would take 12 to 20 hours a day to keep up with 'em all!! 8) If I'm not bumping it to the top every other day or so, it quickly falls to page 8!! :eek: :eek:

Man...

... nothing to report, except I'm still waiting... waiting for my shock and spring. Grrrrrrrrrr... :mad: This is driving me crazy!!!! :mad:

I'm chasing after Penske to rebuild it, ship it and get me off their backs. :p My man here says I'll have it next week, in time to get the bike back together in time for the trip to Barber. :-\ I sure hope so. :(

If there are any further delays or screw ups, I won't be bringing the Mongrel to Barber. I do have the KZ, but...

I've had my sights set on bringing the h2 for the whole year. We worked so hard to get it mobile for Mid-Ohio and then finish the suspension upgrades for Barber. To say I'll be "annoyed" at leaving it behind would be an understatement! :mad:

Sorry for venting...

I'm just so flippin' frustrated!!!! :mad: It's so stupid to be delayed by something so dumb. :-[

I know some who are gonna be at Barber, don't have the option of having a bike there. I don't want to come across like a whiny baby... although that's probably what I sound like about now. :-[

O'k. The steam has been released. Better now. Thanks. :) I'm pretty sure the sun will rise in the east again tomorrow. Ya... pretty sure! ;)

If it's the right one, it'll be installed and the Mongrel will be ready for Barber next week! 8)
