Hey man, just stumbled upon your build, you've got a lot of cool things going on with it right now. Got a question as I noticed you had a skateboard for your seat pan. I had originally planned on doing the same and mabe running a shorty fender under it. How's it working out for you, does it seem to make a decent pan? I think it'll give me the look I want but I'd like to see how it sits on other builds.

Thats not going to be my actual seat pan, however ive used a skateboard as one before. It works really good as one. Just make sure you seal the wood really good before you put it on the bike, itll stop it from rotting.
With the tail of the board it makes a perfect upsweep for you to make a frame hoop sit against, with the upsweep you can easily fit a fender under the hoop, stock fender works really good in most cases, or you can custom one.

Yeah thats why I like them is the upsweep. I've got a stock rear fender that I cut down so I can put under it and utilize the holes in it for the taillight. Thanks for the help, it didnt cross my mind to seal it but that makes complete sense.
