Pics of tonight's progress. I didn't spend much time down there. I took jsjamboree's pointer and sorted the rear fender so my wife isn't the fender like my last 550 haha. It's roughly 4-5" longer.

Also did the final trim on the front. Now to take it all apart and powder the upper bracket and lower brace. I didn't feel like firing everything up tonight so maybe tomorrow.

Paintitallred CB550

Took it out on its first shake down. Had to stop a few times to adjust the rear brake. Front sticks a little. Runs pretty good. Still needs some adjustments. Fender bolts didn't get tightened down enough and the nuts fell off two of the four. Front wheel has a vibration that I need to figure out. Might need trued. It felt great though.

Back together

Starting the cleaning process. I'll spend the next couple of nights cleaning every crack and nook on this bike. I use this time to really examine everything. I usually catch a few minor things and adjust from there. It's good bonding time and helps keep me on the road verses the side waiting to be picked up.

Remember that one time your shift lever fell off and we had to zip tie it to the bike to finish our trip to the thaw.

Updates:

Installed Led headlamp
Installed modern master cylinder
Rebuilt front caliper
Replaced brake line
New mirrors installed
Fixed my running light issue
Installed the 12v outlet and ram mount
Installed sissy bar
Installed quick release windscreen
