Lots of stuff to play with for the next while

I myself, have powder coated some rims previously with "Near Chrome" powder and they came out awesome. It is all about the prep and the condition of the original parts that you are coating.

Not a purchase, but last Tues. my oldest brother had a massive heart attack and died in my little sisters arm. We inherit his $300K+ house and everything else he owned. If it's true "He who dies with the most toys wins", then clearly Ross wins. His collection includes:
69 Sand Cast CB750- he was 2nd owner in 1973, it's in boxes disassembled, but complete
KawaTon- H2 motor in a Norton Featherbed
1975 Moto Guzzi
Ceriani's, Kimtabs, etc.
1980 Ferrari Mondial
1969 Jaguar XKE
BMW 540 w/ functional Barracuda Shaker Hood
A few Alfa Romeos in various stages of race car build
A bunch of Turbo LeBarons
1975 Dodge D100 he bought new and still in good shape.
My other brother says there are massive amounts of every tool I could ever want in triplicates and most new in the box still.
Motorcycle jacks and lifts still in the box.
Oh ya, The Lotus Elan that Emma Peel drove in the mid 60's Avengers tv show.
Still waiting for an itemized inventory. I will probably pack up and bag Ga. and move out there as it may take a few years to liquidate what we will. We'll keep the house in the family. I'd much rather still have my brother here than all the toys. He will be missed.
He had not been in good health and didn't take care of himself. I knew he had delusions of grandeur buying up these projects all the time that I knew he would never finish.

Sorry to hear of your loss. No amount of "stuff" can replace a part of your family. Hopefully all the toys bring back great memories of him though

Thanks, I'll try and get some of those projects completed. I'd like to get the Sandcast back together. I've never actually seen the KawaTon, never could get him to shot a pic of it. He had everything he needs to do restoration work so I could be busy for some time.

Add to that list the 69 Triumph Bonneville that he has owned for over 40 years. Also a 57 Chevy. I'm waiting on the full inventory and pictures.

Sorry for your loss Mark.
Time is a fleeting thing, and we all think we have all of it we will ever need, but time is a fleeting thing. Time slips through your fingers like sand. Grasp though you might, no one can hold on to it. The loss of a sibling brings into question our own mortality, and the loss is one that is deep.
I'm sure your brother would enjoy knowing that you get to see his collection, have the ability and knowledge to appreciate it, and get to finish some of the things he started. Hopefully this work will help to ease the pain of your loss.
Prayers sent for you and the family.

Sorry about your bro, Marc.

Another trim ring for a projector lamp and two split sleeves to adapt a KZ550 axle to KZ750 forks- all from Mr.E Machining.

Date stamped 12/1976 titled 1977 KZ1000...

Some Mississippi moss and rusty bolts, shocks and brake fittings, frame is straight and solid. Typical pull the carbs to clean them and never make it past go. Motor looks good (said it ran great), not stuck, shifts good and the shifter has never been smashed, the tank is almost perfect with only one or two small nickel size dents no scrub marks on cases. It's all there with turns and fenders... well see if I go to work (full resto mod) on it or get it running and sell it off.
