Ordered from Amazon. $2.00 cheaper per can than the local suppliers. Also have an inner tube somewhere in Georgia. Supposed to be here tomorrow. Both for a new purchase which will be posted in a few days.

Been getting a lot of wood lately. Today's haul will become the two load bearing walls on my 16 x 20 'shop' I'm building at the cottage finally.

Saw an ad on FB Market for old Sportster parts. I bought them the next day and assembled this backyard survivor 73 XLCH.

Nice! 2x6 are you insulating for use in the colder waether?
2x6 is code here from what I can gather, and frankly it's worth the extra cost/weight even if not insulating I think.

I doubt it will get insulated, as there are 5 massive 5x9 foot single pane windows going in. They're a set of sliding doors from a department store in a mall I think or something. Insulating the remaining walls wouldn't do much good I don't think. But you never know.

Nice. Here a garage can still be made from 2x4 but agree 2x6 is the better choice for the load bearing bits.

Finally bought a big boy toy, after being jealous of all the cool shit people on here were making for the last 10 years.

After owning the '08 Saturn for 13 years and putting 80,000 miles on it we decided it was time to for a replacement. The thing still looked great and ran good but it was time for a change. Typical for me, lots of research went into it and I decided that the way we use a car; rarely more than a 40-50 mile round trip, that a hybrid might be the way to go for us. We are seriously considering replacing the 5th wheel with a motorhome in a couple of years so it seemed logical that the new vehicle would have to be pressed into service as a tow'd. Then I was surprised to learn that pretty much the only newer hybrid available that can be flat towed is the Ford Escape. I've got a good friend who's owned at least three of the things and loves them. After testing out a gas powered model, the search started for a hybrid; the newer the better and low miles for me and the "right" colors inside and out for Mrs. After locating several that weren't the "right" colors I finally found one a bit over an hour away that fit the bill. It's a couple years older than I wanted but only has 12,000 miles so that's OK. '20 Ford Escape Hybrid Titanium with all the bells n whistles. Even has head up display and it's suppose to be able to park itself, haven't tried that yet, though. 40 mpg? Yes, please!

Woke up early last Friday morning, did the routine scan of Marketplace. Found a bike I didn't need. Had a 84 CR500r in the bed of my truck by 8 a.m. Needs a little cosmetic work, but she starts right up.

Just picked up this 2004 Suzuki SV650 off of some kinfolk of the (in)famous @VonYinzer. I had been borrowing my dad's Buell xb12s for a bit as he's been recovering from open heart surgery, but he's ready to ride again so I was in the market for something cheap and fun to be my daily for a while. It's been sitting for about 5 years so it'll need gone over, but it has some good stuff on it. R1 forks, gsxr rear shock. Two brothers can etc.
