I just purchased one as well Tim. Thanks!

Just wish it had a kill switch. The Yamaha YHA205 switch pod has everything in one kit. I have one on my XS650. Hi/lo, horn, signals and kill.

But I can put a kill switch anywhere and might install a tether pull switch on the SR for shits and giggles.

Yeah a kill is pretty easy to put anywhere you want one and the tether might be neat too for fun. Will keep you from forgetting to flip the swithc if you have to attach it to have te bike run LOL, make it hard to kick start though.

Tethers have long enough coil to be able to kickstart bike, or, don't clip it to anything until bike is started.
Main problem I've had with them, the ones that are easy to get hold of are grounding switches which is not good for battery ignition as you get direct battery to ground when 'off' (designed for dirt bike capacitor discharge ign)

Picked these up from HF the other weekend...

I actually went there just to get casters, but the saw was on sale (for about the same price as used ones I was looking at), and the movers dolly was half the price of four individual casters.
Now I went there for casters, to make a dolly for this freebie...

It's blower fan from a home A/C unit.
I then spent about $25 on a register and a expanded steel screen, added a cord I had in spares, chopped down the movers dolly, and viola'...
One badass shop fan ;)

I'm done with the Hardie board. That was a piece of scrap I dropped on the horses for a quick table. I was cutting it with a circular saw with the blade reversed :)

Picked up one of these for the SR500 project. Figure for $9 shipped I'll gamble and see if it's actually OK to run.

Of course, the seller can't decide if it's made of PVC, ABS, or Heavy Duty Aluminum, but hey, it's $9 shipped.

These are aluminum. I've used the matched sets on multiple builds. The throttle side has an integrated cable holder and accepts honda style throttle cables. You can get the matched pair on dx.com for $12.40

Never seen DX.com before.

Found this electronic flasher for $2.60, everything ships free in the USA. Will order and see if it works with LEDs :)

Just picked up a new motorcycle trailer.
Guy that had it set it up for one huge Harley.
So I plan on removing that one big cheap chock and adding two of the following adjustable chocks.
Plus I have to repair some wiring clean the bottom and undercoat it because it's starting to rust.
I also plan on adding a Herculiner to the top, rear gate and front of the trailer to make it tougher.
It will be the Herculiner roll on I was going to get Line-X but the want $1200.00 just for the top, rear gate and front.

Also just received my new full Area P exhaust. ;-)

I just picked this up about a month ago. Big plans in the works! Front fender has already been swapped, seat on the way, tons and tons of upgrades ordered.

What's the weight on that trailer? I'm looking for something that even a car can pull with ease. Have been thinking about getting an old sea doo trailer and making one.

By the time you're done modding a sea doo trailer you'll have spend the same amount for a single bike trailer as you would for this http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/carry-on-trailerreg%3B-4-ft-w-x-7-ft-l-mesh-floor-trailer-1600-lb-payload-capacity

Not sure but I pull this one with my 1999 Lincoln Continental.
But it is a little bigger than I needed at 6 X 12. I would have preferred a little shorter.

But I could probably get three bikes on this one.

Umm, apparantly I won an ebay auction a little while back. Cause a front brake caliper showd up today for the 77 project. Back the garage for some fabrication work I guess.

Gotta love it when you're ordering so many parts you forget what you ordered!

Thanks for the heads up on the trailer. I'll keep my eyes opened for one ready to go; seems cheaper that way.
