Dude... and you called out MY taste in grips?!

Metalflake is amazing. And... Those grips are the only "flashy" thing that'll end up on this bike. Gotta have at least one piece of flair. Haha...

Beautiful!

Yes it is!.. Buckeye, I'm not far from you and I'm actually headed to Cridersville on Wednesday. I need to stop out sometime and try to avoid getting drool on your bikes and get some pictures. You have an amazing collection!

Mark those are cheapy RFY's that I plan to rebuild.
I have heard mixed reviews, so we shall see when I get them finished and on the bike.

Build quality does seem to be better than it was but still not really what it should be
Re-built and modified they are probably at least as good as Hagon or Ikon and possibly better?
If you have no idea they are moving to full compression they are working well

PJ, I think I recall you being the go to guy on rebuilding them. Do you have a link/thread on this process?

Sorry, they need a few special tools to take apart. I only took pictures of shock in pieces although I may have had the bits I made in picture

A not so new 1972 Jawa 250 Californian for me. She is affectionately known as 'Rust Machine' and needs more than a little love. Build thread to start soon...

So I had been searching for a Corbin seat for my 83 1100. I found a guy offering a deal which seemed almost to good to be true preice wise. After offering to pay him paypal he stated "I don't have an account and I don't want one", and that I could "just mail him a check and he would send the seat". Too many red flags, and It was screaming scam.
Obviously I declined stating that I wanted the seat, but was concerned due to so many "shady" people being out there. Tonight I came home to find a double walled box looking like a coffin sitting on the bed. After opening the box I found the most layered covered package I have ever received. Enclosed was the freshly recovered in leather Corbin seat. Needless to say I will be putting his money order in the mail as requested. Good to see some people are still honest and up front people, sometimes even people you don't know and have never met. was good for the soul!
