Thanks, yes probably going to keep it ‘quite original’That doesnt look like it needs much work at all. Nice
As i was cleaning out the workshop ready for the arrival of the 550 on Tuesday, though i’d share a pic of my Superlight which is soaking up the sun jn the garden today View attachment 224321
That sounds like a perfect plan for itThanks, yes probably going to keep it ‘quite original’
i’m thinking twin disk conversion, flatter bars, repaint the tank maybe candy orange, and stuff to make it run/perform better like elec ignition, better shocks, rebuild forks, bearings.
the idea is to build something that looks originalish but goes better.

Fresh air does a body good.Out in the light of day as I attempt to get some cleaning done in the shop.

Torn flags make good bike covers at Snouts house.
I was going to like your post but somebody F***ed that up, LOL.
Often times your local VFW, American Legion, and other such organizations have drop boxes for old flags so they can be properly disposed of.
I miss the like button. And I like the flag as a cover, or a wall hanging. A tattered flag shows its age and time spent proudly displayed. No disrespect meant to America as I have 3 vehicles painted in a flag motiff , but this is my way of keeping the colors alive when they are too torn to hang on the pole.I was going to like your post but somebody F***ed that up, LOL.
The Boys Scouts will also properly retire flags. If someone is inclined to retire a flag themselves, there are procedures they can follow in order to do it respectfully.

Like you said to each his own. This is my way of enjoying the flag in my garage. The beautiful thing with America is our freedom to express ourselves. To me this is a way to continue to enjoy a flag. I like having them hanging out in the garage. Even as a youngster I never saw the dignity in burning a flag ,but again just my opinion. Isn't that a flag touching your wall there? The Boys Scouts will also properly retire flags. However, proper flag etiquette dictates (among other things)
~ The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.
~ The flag should not be displayed on a float except from a staff, nor draped over the hood, top, sides, or back of a vehicle.
~ When the flag is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem, it should be destroyed in a dignified and ceremonious fashion, preferably by burning.
If a flag has spent it's time being proudly displayed, it has done it's duty, and deserves a proper retirement.
And it's not disrespectful to America. It's disrespectful to the Flag. Just my .02
