100%! he actaully tried to take it to have it re covered but i convinced him to leave it... fur seats rock on distance rides and that is what this bike will be used for. keeps you from having swamp ass, he did a great job covering it, looks like a pro job. and when he sat on it he fell in love! it is awesome! and i think it really adds to the look of the bike... next mission is the front fairing!

I think I like it due to the fact that it is so ugly, it is cool! Like saying FUCK YOU, ITS MY FUCKIN SEAT, to anyone who turns their nose up at it! It looks a bit like a monster from from the pixar film! Hahaha :D

How tlal is your brother? I ask because I had the same king queen ass cup seat and when I put my ass in it to be comfortable, my feet wanted to sit right on the cylinders, not the pegs. I am 6' and all legs though, before I cut the seat down I had to sit up on the ridge of the seat to use the shifter and rear brake.

Other than that it is cool in all it's ugly glory. I really haet the vetter fairing etc. normally but the flat black and green along with the fur seat make it look over the top, with the stereo and LED's it will just scream look at me and Fuck you at the same time. It will be a comfy tourer for sure.

Cheers

he is just under 6 ft. for some reason i am short as piss and he is tall as hell! ha ha ha ooh well, to deal with that we have new style floor boards and some hightway pegs on the crash bars... all coated of course

Joe it looks great, but you really need to smoke the amber lenses on the front fairing, they really stick out with all the black and green!

I told him the same thing... but he likes it... he is in GET IT ON THE ROAD mode right now... so he is plowing though it... we can make little changes like that on rainy days when we cant ride, his girl misses being on the bike and with the chop she dont ride with him...

How do you find time to work on all these projects and still take care of your commitments?

while the girls where inside, Mike (my brother) and I started to work on the wiring, and a few other odds and ends... got the whole back of the bike tied up and ready to be tied into the main harness, also wired up his air horn, LED breather, and started to see where we wanted to stash the alarm system for the bike.
tell you what.. every light on this bike is LED, tail, turns, accent lighting, flog lights, guage lights... well all except the HID headlight, unreal how llittle power draw there is!!!!

While he was workign on labeling wires i added the trim strip and painted it to match, this will provide a glow of green out of the fairing

got some black door trim from Autozone, added that to the lids of all the bags to clean up the edges... really looks good!

Those under lights are sick. Incredible how bright they are. I'll be using something similiar for my dads ride when I get started on it.

And that color scheme is awesome. Not my style but it looks so good.

Looks good man! I am amazed at the speed at which you crank these suckers out!

I have to ask, though, is that a Scotch-Lok wire connector in your harness pic? Not telling you what to do, but in my experience those are about the worst electrical connection you can make. I might just be seeing it wrong, too.

Again, though, really nice work!

that is the sickest wing I have ever seen. I love it. super stylish but at the same time begging for some miles to be put on it. nice!
