Hey man, I love British singles also.. for a time I had an all original '46 BSA C11. I love this RE that you picked up. May I ask what year it is and how much you paid for it, if you are comfortable answering that? Just would like to get an idea, I might add a bike like this to my list of potential bikes to pickup this summer.
Wow, that's a damn good price for a 2020 and a damn good looking bike. I appreciate the information my friend. And I will be following your build here for sure, that is a great looking cycle. It's a 2020. I'll have close to 9000 into it by time I'm "done", Bike itself retails for 5800. But you don't have to do the work on it to have fun with it.
Thanks
Riding is social distancing...!
(And if you're going to be eliminating the matte black, I think a nice, deep sapphire blue would be awesome for the bodywork against the existing frame and engine black...)
While that would look good. in my desire to create a period piece, my current plan is to stick with a more traditional. old timey (?) color that may or may not have been offered. So, some of the black will remain, but tank and side cover color? Not sure yet. I have time, plus at 4 miles on the clock, I have other fish to fry first.
