I want to start packing my bag already. This is going to be a long two months.

Although, I think I will need a medivac ride back home to a butt hospital after all that riding. Going to have to find a seat cushion or something.

@Maritime - Just let me know if you want to stay in the bunkhouse and I will add you to the list. You can pay me when you get there. Also, as I mentioned, depending on how many people stay in the bunk house it could be as cheap or cheaper than a tent spot.

I've got my route planned out to take as many 2-lane highways as I can, but still have to ride through Atlanta on the Interstate for 120 miles :/ Still waiting to hear from a friend of mine whether he's going or not, and still got some work to do to the bike in order to get her running 100%. I'll probably be rooming in the bunkhouse unless the other guy is coming and wants to split one of the cabins. We'll have to wait and see.

Yes, the lower part of HWY28 was fun. Unfortunately it will be getting dark while I am on that stretch. That also means I will be crossing the Dragon at night. I will just take it slow and safe. And hopefully there will be less traffic on that stretch between Highlands and Franklin.

Now I am debating on whether I install my clipons before or after the trip.

I'll just use fix's mobile refueling station again, it's way cheaper considering gas prices these days.. Oh, I did finally replace that old battery now, so I don't have to push it off again

Well that's a relief. However, I think we should designate someone to carry about 8ft of fuel hose and some plastic bottles along, just in case.

Looks like I am definetly in for Saturday at least! Ill be driving over early in the morning that day hopefully in time for the ride. Is there a dock for loading there? Id gladly pay punkin center to use it even tho I wont be staying overnight.
