New fender and cleaned up the electronics under the seat.

Parts ordered for fender delete. Just need to fab a bracket to mount the license plate.

Quick to scale mock-up. Indicators will be mounted to old fender tabs, two brake lights mounted to seat mounting brackets. Brake lights will stick out a little to match the seat lines. They’ll look similar to stock bullet style but more compact.

I picked this bike because a lot of generic honda parts fit it and reliability/upgrades that come with bikes from this century. Plus, it's my first project, I'm going to make mistakes. I'd rather break a new off brand bike than something that should be restored and retired to a collection.

Looking good so far! Those lights look a little close to the tire. Will they come into contact with it when the suspension is compressed? I had my rear tire eat my license plate once...

They’re about half an inch lower than where the fender sat, so I’m going adjust the preload and pray haha

Tore apart the front end.
Rebuilding/shortening forks, cutting springs, adding bushings and heavier oil.
New headlight bracket.
Lowered gauges to sit flush.
Moved clip ons under top triple. Had to flip left/right and drill new holes in them to get position bolts to fit better.

Short forks! Turn signals should arrive tomorrow.

Made a functional mock license plate mount out of some spare aluminum flat bar. Eventually it will be upgraded with a thicker steel version.

Thank you. I definitely feel the road now haha Reacts better to steering input, but not twitchy.

Looks like my indicators are trapped in limbo at customs. It's nice out and I'm impatient, so I ordered another set from amazon that won't be shipped internationally.

Guess what was waiting at the post office and not customs... Good thing the KZ750 I’m working on needed indicators.

Tail lights($7 each)and indicators($4 pair) are from Aliexpress. The amazon indicators($14 pair) are about the size(50mm-ish) of the brake lights and the cone is a bit more pointed. They just wouldn’t look good on this small single.
