and i know this is not related but here are a few shot of a bike we just finished up coating a bunch of parts and did the wrenching... was closer for the customer to just come by my place to pick it up, so i brought it home for him... was very pumped! if you notice the swing arm was completely shaved and coated and look so clean!
and one more off topic set of pics. these gun metal wheels came out to sick not to post, we also polished the center caps on them... he liked them so much he is bringing in his winter wheels for the same treatment
also another nice option we can offer our customers (bike, car, quad, you name it) is tire mount and balance right in house!
We actually have 2 car lifts as well that are being installed once we can add some cement enforcement this summer. We have a bunch of car guys that will drop off their cars we will pull the wheels, and brakes off, coat them all, rebuild and bleed the brakes, then install it all on the vehicle. Much easier to do it in one stop shop than have to run around like mad to get all the work done. For bikes, we also have alot of guys that will drop off rims and have new tires shipped to the shop for us to install once the coating work is done. For bikes we will use dyna beads to balance the tires. this is a much more affective means of balancing and also keeps from having ugly wheel weights on the freshly coated wheels... works out really welll for our customers. We actually also just did this for a quad customer as well for his satin black wheels. he has already brought 2 more set of wheels to do hahahaha.

depends on the wheels to be honest, 26" wheels pull a bit more than say our stock 16" hd guys.. $45-$75 though for both wheels, balanced with dyna beads (no ugly wheel weights used here). Again it is all dependant on what we are installing and on what... we can do sizes up to 30" and basicly as small as you want, all kinds of rims ranging from quad, truck, car, bike, etc...

I know it can be a pain for the customer to have to not only remove his wheels for coating but then must find a tire shop to remove the tires and then go back to have them remounted and balanced to the tune of at least $60. I have always offered a 4 tire dismount/mount/balance for $50 to my customers.
MJPriceisright sent in some wheels for a color match... unfortunately they where to big to send off to our supplier to have them run tests to find a match so we had to do it the old fashion way... after about 30 or so samples and blends... we finally where able to nail it down! other coaters told him impossible... looks like we nailed it pretty good!
