I built a welding cart for my new Hobart 125
i start with straight tube, for a tight bend i cut 5 degrees on one side then flip n cut the other side 5 degrees. For less bend i cut 2.5 degrees. If you know the radius you want you can lay it out n figure what angle will work best. Then they're cleaned n welded togetherSONIC. said:Those are bad amigo.
In a good way.
Having never done that before, do you just set the shop saw on say 10 degrees and make pie cuts and then tig all the pieces together (like for chambers), or are you cutting pie cuts out of a straight tube, bending it and welding it back up?
