    CB836 stiff crank

Hi guys, I rebuilt my motor with a wiseco 836 and all new chains, bearings, seals, etc. (basically everything is new). I used fresh assembly lube on all moving parts and bearings. The crank is really hard to get started, I need to use wrench on the alternator bolt to free the crank but once it...

CB750 Caliper - trying to swap brake line and bleeder location

I have seen photos online of people reversing the brake line and bleeder locations for the right side of CB750 dual caliper setups (I have the finned style calipers not the later versions with both the line and bleeder located in the middle). This is so the brake line is closer to the fork leg...

Shorter CB750 eninge hanger bolt (lower, rear bolt)

I'm posting this here since it makes the most sense. I have rear sets on my CB750 and previously used washers to fill the void of where the stock foot pegs once were. Since the treads are not long enough to simply cut the bolt down, does anyone know where I could find a shorter engine bolt? The...

    CB750 front caliper fitment

Does anyone know if the mid 70's cb750K caliper and caliper arm fit a 1978K fork? Basically are all the "T" style bracket mounting holes the same? I know the widths of the caliper arm vary from the 1973-76 and the 77-78 so the is probably why the parts numbers dont match up correctly.

CB750 brake caliper and bracket 1977-78 style

I'm looking for a caliper and bracket for a 1978 cb750K fork. I believe cb750f and k calipers fit if they're late 70's models. Anyone have one for sale?

    Looking for a 70's CB750F tank

Anyone selling a 70's CB750F tank? I'm located in DC but, I'm willing to pay for shipping. Cash or trade works for me, I have a 78 tank with nice OG paint (no dings), 78 tank with spray paint job (no dings) and a 71 tank (no dings) but it was lined previously and it would need to be redone. Let...

    CB750 tank swap questions

I currently have a CB750K1 with the original tank. I would like to use the later model, bigger tank found on the 77 and 78's K's. I do not want to use a F model tank. I know the front rubber mounts are identical but the rear rubber mount is different. I also have a custom seat so I'm not...

    Mac 4into1 question

I'd like to the purchase the Mac - 801-1301 to fit on a 1971 CB750. I like the Mac - 801-1301 because it has the longer pipe with upsweep after the 4into1 connection. I have removed the passenger brackets from my bike so I believe the clearance is there for this exhaust to work but I'd like to...

CB750 Carb float bowl brass vent

I'm in the process of rebuilding my carbs and when I disassembled on of the carbs I noticed the float bowl brass vent pipe is cracked at the base where it's pressed into the aluminum bowl body. I couldn't find a new brass vent online so does anyone know of a trick to fix these, soldering maybe...

    CB750K1 rear suspension

Give or take a few mm the stock rear suspension is 13 inches. This is the model bike that I'm drawing ideas from and I'm going to use rear shocks similar to these. The question is... do I go with 13" or 14" rear shocks? I have my front end lowered about 1 inch (the model bike is too).

    CB750K1 with Progressive springs

Anyone have experience installing Progressive springs in a K1? The notes say to use the plastic spacers for the preload but the springs seem to be in the right location (top of the threads inside the fork tube) without the spacers.

Removing handlebar mounts on top clamp

Anyone have any ideas for removing the handlebar clamps on a top clamp? My course grinding wheel is working but very very slowly and it's killing the wheel. I was thinking about getting a die grinder with cut off wheel or even an electric grinder. Anyone have experience doing this mod? Going for...

CB750 cartridge bolt stuck in fork

Anybody have any ideas on how to get the allen bolt out of the cartridge (the allen bolt on the bottom of the fork). The bolt and cartridge spin together while trying to remove it. I have tried with the fork together and disassembled as well as an air impact wrench. The damn this just spins and...

CB750 rear rim or wheel needed

I have a cb750k1 and the previous owner did the Harley conversion to a 16" rim. Does anyone have an 18" rim for sale or complete wheel? I'd prefer just the rim but I'll take either for the right price.

    Shinko 712's for cb750

Picking some up today from JP Cycles, I have a 71 CB750 and I need a little help with tire size. I'm going with 100/90-19 up front but in the rear should I go with 110/90-18 or 120/90-18? Based off some conversion charts it looks like either one will be about the same. I looked at most of Kott's...
