    CB360 w/slow crank after rebiild

Engine rebuilt on my CB360 project. While trying to test fire, I noticed the electric start only generated a really slow crank. So I tried manually kicking it to see if the cam was tight, but the kick felt normal and the bike fired. - Battery is new, it's not even a standard bike battery, it's...

Other electronics required for the starter to work?

I have a '74 CB360 that is in mock-up. I have only added back in necessary electronics to tune the motor, it has points, condenser and coils, and kill switch. The bike came with no wiring harness so for now I'm working with what I have. The bike starts perfect on the first kick every time and...

    Momentary switch for headlights

I recently bought a 3 button Motogadget M-switch hoping to control, low beam, high beam and horn. It states that the buttons can control anything electrical, but all three are momentary buttons. So wiring for the horn is easy, but how can I have the two remaining buttons control lights high and...

Hub swap on GSXR750 front end for my CB360

I have a donor 93-95 GSXR750 front end that I have put on another bike, but I don't have a wheel for the front end. I'm not the biggest fan of the three spoke stock wheel from those years and would like to use a different wheel. Any idea the hub width and or what other wheels can potential swap...

    New coating on a shock

I bought a monoshock off a VL800 that I'm gonna reuse on another bike. But the coating on the actual sprint is pretty beat up. I'm not honestly sure what material it is, if it's a rubber or a plastic, has anyone ever replaced the coating on a shock or have any advice? Thanks

    Keihin 722A float bowl gaskets

Anyone ever find a reliable place to buy float bowl gaskets for the Keihin 722A's? I've found full rebuild kits (pricey!) but all I need is the bowl gasket. I've checked the normal sources, eBay, etc to no avail. Just wondering if anyone else has been down this road and what path you took. Thanks

    CL350 won't shift in to 2nd

I'm having shifting issues that I cannot solve. I have a '71 CL350 that simply will not shift into 2nd. I have done a number of things in an effort to rectify this, or locate the issue but have not been able to. With the bike in neutral, the light works great, it starts up fine and runs great...

    Petcock "burps" and Mikuni's leak

I have a '72 CB350 that is having some fuel issues. Neither are issues it seems until the bike sits for a few days. First, my overflows on my Mikuni's leak... and keep leaking. I have left for a weekend and come back to over a pint of gas on the ground. And from what I can tell, it's both...

Type of tire for '72 CB350

I've been looking at tires for a '72 CB350. I read lots of things about tire conversion and am looking at slightly bigger and more aggressive tires. I am considering something like: Front: Pirelli Sport Demon 100/90V-18...

    Mikuni size and jetting suggestions

I'm planning on getting some Mikuni's this winter, I'm tired of fighting the stock ones and wanting to try something new. I'm looking for suggestions on sizes and jetting. I have a '72 CB350. I run it with no mufflers (I know, no need to remind me) and K&N R-1090 pods. Might also consider...

72 CB350 easiest from end swap

I'd like to upgrade the front end of my 72 CB350. I've read tons of threads on super custom jobs, but im looking for as simple a swap as possible. AllBalls has tons of conversion kits, but again, many of hose jobs would be over my head. I'd like a disc brake, larger width forks, but to keep a...

    CB350 Shifting issues

Recently my 72 CB350 has developed some shifting issues. 1. The bike has a hard time finding neutral. I have to be so delicate between 1st and 2nd, often going back and forth a few times before I can finally hit it. It didn't used to be that hard, it seems to almost have no actual "slot", it's...

CB350 - Lack of throttle response

For the past few weeks, there were a number of issues with the may my 72 CB350 bike was running. Suddenly sputtering at lights, reving to high RPM's when I slow down or pull in the clutch, etc/ I checked tones of things, carb clean spark, air leaks, everything seemed fine. Then I noticed wax on...

    CB350 baffles, pods, rejetting guide

I have a '72 CB350. It had no mufflers, 4" baffles and pods. I'm pretty sure it needs rejetting and a mixture change, but I'm yet to find anything on how to do it. I have found resources on how to technically get into the carbs and do the work, but haven't found anything on how to determine what...

    Muffler alternatives

I love the look of my '72 CB350 with no mufflers and just wrapped exhaust. Problem is, I'm not a fan of the sound... it's loud. And not good loud, more like a "sloppy" loud. This may be a dumb question, but are their alternatives to muffles that still suppress noise? Ideally, some sort of small...
