540cc Honda 360 Engine

looking good man,
To my eye the headlight is about 3-4" too high though

And some with the fairing installed. I want to ride it!

yup, drag bars and a fairing id say is a no go?
Put some much lower clip ons and you'll move that fairing down where is should be, headlight too :D

Where's the front rotor and fork brace?
You may want to fit a much smaller rear rotor as weight transfer is going to make that one real difficult to control when rear end gets 'unloaded'

^^^^^^^That, and drop the front an inch or so. It looks like a cruiser as it stands now.

Okay fellers you asked for it...update from the man.

Here's some shots of the headlight mounting brackets I finished today.
The other mounting was, as some had suggested, to high.
I machined a new mount for the smaller caliper that I found in my
stock pile, to allow more shock clearance. Even with changing to
a smaller dia. rotor that someone also rightly recommended, I think
there will be plenty of shock room. Still no rear shocks, The Ohlins I
have are to short and not enough travel to lengthen the bottom eye.
although you can't see it very well, there also is a picture of the fuel
pump mounted on rear of tank. It's a Mikuni triple outlet vac type to
keep carbs full.

Overall, i love the hell out of that bike. Makes me want to knock the dust off of my 360 and get back to work on it. If your engine recipe proves itself, I may bite off some of your ideas. My only critique would be to raise the rear of the gas tank. I think it would make it look more like an older gsxr. Killer bike tho. Your old man has style! 8)

Thank you all for your interest and comments!

What color do you guys like for the tank, seat, and fender and fairing? Silver, Black....

I love this concept, but I can't get over the angle of the frame. Just seems wrong somehow... kinda like a dog getting ready for some action.

I think with the headlight pulled down it's coming into its own, though. And I agree with PJ on the paint.

The angle of what part of the frame in relation to what?

Sort of like a metallic hyena.
