Hey lescoulee! I didn't think anyone would be looking at this thread anymore!! Haha!
Ya, I spent a "few coins" on an LSL upper triple clamp. It fit perfectly! They make 'em to spec for superbike bars for a number of bikes out there! It's a quality product for sure!
Been a fan of this bike for a long time! Saw some posts on some of it over on KZRider; then I found it here. Just need to say that this is one of my all-time favorite bikes. Great bike; great work!!!
I haven't had the bike out in the sun yet (crappy spring) to get some really good pics of the whole bike. This paint is a few shades deeper red and has some flake in it. A much higher quality job too. Should be real classy lookin'.
Yes, but not for long!! It quit with an electrical failure about an hour into my season. We've gotta sort that out, then this years carb mods will happen. With all the time I spend doing other stuff and riding the h2 when I get a chance, this could take a while.
Hi Drewski,
Just noticed that you have the exact same JMC Racing Swingarm I just put on my 1981 CB750.
Love the way it looks and hope it helps with the handling some.
By the way great looking KZ. I would like to pick one of those up one day.
As long as it's installed properly, it will take all cornering loads and any amount of HP my OR your engine will ever be able to throw at it! The next step is shocks and springs of course! Then match the front suspension to the rear, brace the frame for flex, and so on, and so on... ;D
