This is a cool project, Maritime. I really like the blue, that color pops nicely with some good chrome!

Satin Black. Needs a wetsand, a few blemishes fixed and one final coat to be ready for 2K Satin.

Everything is wetsanded. Humidity is less than 40% and it should get warm enough to get final colour coats.

Did the blue stripe. Clear tomorrow. Probably buy a passenger seat cover and paint it the same blue.

Really nice job on an inherently beautiful bike. Hawk GT has got to be one of Honda's more collectable rolling sculptures of near-modern times. I had a red one, and it felt like taking it out into the elements was doing the cycle-world an injustice. I ended up selling it to someone that hopefully wasn't going to use it as a daily in crappy weather. (Hwy 24 in Colorado is rough on vehicles).

OOH I love Colorado. Made a trip there with 14 buddies and we rented bikes to ride for 3 days. Stayed in Breckinridge and hit some lovely roads. I want to go back again.
