Post a pic of your latest purchase

Tim, I am a huge fan of that fairing...really...I think at this point you have to make it work. Stick it in the box with the side covers and I'll spray it black too :p

I agree with Kanticoy. It looks like it will work great on the BMW. I am not a fan of fairing either.

I'm on the fence. Ton of work, it will eat up more space in the garage, and I really like the bike naked. I think I'll stick with the easy-on/easy-off universal fairing for touring and leave it naked while home. 99% of the riding I do is around town and I don't need fairings for that.

I'll toss the Rickman up in the rafters till I get the itch again. Now, if it was the more race-inspired CR, I'd likely give it a go. Maybe do an R90S style makeover with a 3/4 fairing.

I hear ya man. Rickman made an airhead specific fairing back on the day with cylinder cutouts on out that I always loved. If mine weren't a toaster I'd do it.

Picked up 8 bikes this weekend. These two were $100 together with 5 boxes of extra parts. Also picked up a great running ready to ride '79 XS650 for $200, will have to take a pic tonight. I need a new stock seat for the XS, anyone have one??

Haha, yeah, that boy loves the motorcycles. He hears one outside and runs for the window, gets up on a chair so he can watch it go by..

Got home to my goodies yesterday.. Dynatech coils, wires, and ignition from Dynoman Performance, 520 chain and sprocket kit(40t rear) from Motomadness, new head gasket and extra rings, Excel rim from and SS spokes from Buchanan, and a rim band. Also for the stock bike two new Continental Ultra tires to replace the replicas that's on it..

My daily "TS185" ebay search paid off, have been looking for a parts bike so as i have spares and the possibility of finding one with an OK bottom end.

Found this one today and quickly rang guy, scored for a low price.

even if motor shagged i score what looks to be a old bassani pipe ? and the kick starter and of course everything else as spares.

Quite happy at the moment :)

Got this as a bday gift this weekend. So far it's great! Thanks Von for the reviews.

A gas can?
A used leather jacket?
Some lumber?

What kind of birthday present is that? 8)

The Lumber is to build a decent set of tool drawers and the gas to set fire to those useless metal drawers. ;D nice jacket.

Clearly you guys missed the point of this picture. The gift was the pink polka-adot tote! Get it together.

That's why you thanked Von for the reviews. He would know pink poka dots are better than purple heart totes, unless it has my little pony on it, then that's totally different

So my Tarozzi rearsets showed up today. If anyone is curious, the linkage kit that DCC sells uses the same thread that the clevises from Tarozzi. I ordered the linkage kit hoping it would work and it does. The last 2 weeks have brought me rearsets, linkage, throttle and clutch cable, brake pads, steel brake lines, bleeder screws, and finally the correct fork seals. Let's just say the new job is working out well and I might have this thing back on the road soon.
