The Karman Ghia's look really great with early Beetle or Porsche headlight buckets installed

Mr.E said:So I've been a tad busy lately. Here's the more recent ones.
New chuck, Chuck adapter, and quick change tool post for the lathe. Gonna make things a tad less chattery.
New turn signals for Jenn's bike. Half installed already.
New mirrors for my bike. This will also make things a bit less chattery.
And the Bedlam Werks calender if you haven't, check these guys out. Great work and a eye for detail, and fun to hang out with too.
Not pictured are fork ears and seals for Jenn's bike. Lots of goodies lately, but bye bye hardtail money :-(

that is eye kandy to this ole mashinist and there is nothing worse than an old wallerd 3 jaw chuck ...i bet i have banged on a piece of spinning stock a million times over the years in the hopes it quit jumpin' up and down ;D
Ha. A chuck costing more than the machine.Mr.E said:It's not that beefy.. I really wish I had room for a 6 jaw, but this little lathe isn't worth beefing up to the tune of a $1200 chuck :-/

My province is mandating all off road vehicles have registration and insurance. Lots of bikes getting dumped.
cosworth said:Well the problem is that there are lots of trails that were for dirtbikes or that dirtbikes frequented that were then setup for pedestrian use. There are more and more clashes between hikers, bikers, quads and dirtbikes.
Essentially you just pick the one activity that has the most money or the least children and legislate it to death or tax it to death.
