Killer job Kiley!

I got a few things re-organized and assembled a work stool last night. Pretty pathetic compared to others. ;D

I had a chill night. Drank a few beers, worked on some drawings for a possible up coming project, and organized the shop a bit. Still waiting on petcocks for the XS.

This is more Tonight in the garage i'm gonna not I did . When I get home from work i'm gonna light a fire ,grab a beer then watch Sons of Anarchy , and maybe some cleanup

Sunday night I tore my FZR down to the essentials. So starts the winter rebuild/mods. More speed and better handling on the way.

i swear to god squadra... you better not touch that FZR's exterior AT ALL. modify handling and power all you want, but that thing is BEAUTIFUL stock.

Luckily I'm spending all my money to go to NZ for a month, otherwise it would be getting painted Pramac moto GP colors....So it'll be stock for next season, then I'll probably be tired of it and buy something else lol. So for now it will stay stock on the outside. Only thing I'm doing aesthetically is getting the wheels powdercoated the same yellow and upgrading the mirrors and turn signals.

Sorry BR, Fairing is staying. You can't beat dual rounds up front ;D

No time for bikes tonight. We decided (translation SWMBO decided therefore her wish is my command) that we needed to change the POS windows in the basement, so I pulled out the old frame and of course it's rotted, so bought the wood and no I have to design and make a window frame to take the new plastic framed window.

How much did I know about window construction? A. Nil. Fortunately I'm a fast learner. Now the garage is full of sawdust and bits of wood cut to the wrong sizes and angles. And it has to be finished and installed by teh morning. Hope the neighbors don't plan on sleeping tonight.....

Tonight and last night in the garage included: cleaning all the room mates stuff up (he was there to help out) and organized all my crap, picked up some lumber and went to town building a new work bench!!!!! Installed my new seat pad on the Cafiend. I love how it turned out, I made the pan and had it upholstered, for $60 cant go wrong. I think it makes the bike look pretty much complete in my eyes.

Didn't do anything this morning, but yesterday I got the kickstand for the CR60 welded up, got the 2nd rotor bolted up to the Suzuki wheel, worked on the mount for the fiberglass seat, took the solid rotor off a wheel and mounted a slotted one, ground some tabs off the frame....... I think that's it.

Oh ya, and got the 175 tank off the shelf to show it to Justin.

Last night I don't think I mixed enough catalyst in my fiber glass job for widening my bike seat... That shit makes me nervous. Too much and WOOF!

I spent most of day fixing steering gear on son-in-laws truck.
Then, I made/modified some small parts for Suzuki forks.
Made a fixture to hold 6x1mm Allen head bolts, drilled Allen heads for safety wire, (PITA, broke a lot of 1/16"drills ;D) mirror polished brake mounting parts and stainless steel bolts.
Everything looks real good (I'm impressed with finished bits :D)
Pics to follow in build thread

Was shaking down my buddys GS550 for a few days and the suspension was rough. last night he and i pulled the rear shocks to replace the springs with some extra Progressives I have. Turns out the shocks are just plain shit and need replaced all together. That cut our work short for the evening so we kept ourselves busy drinking ample amounts of beer.

Made a carbon fiber base for the seat pad. Now I need foam and a cover a truck load of velcro to attach it.

Why C/F? Because I needed something to practice on and something where mistakes would not be too obvious. No way I was going to make side covers my first C/F project.
