HUGE dent repair on tank... please keep in mind this is powder, so there is no body filler or metal filler on this tank at all, this is completely done though metal work

almost have the dent completely out

could you educate me on dual color powder? is any powdercoater theoraticly capable of doing dual color?

For the lettering I think they powder and bake the lettering silver then power the entire piece with the main color. Then they just wipe off the letters before putting it in the oven.

Most pro coaters can handle doing multiple colors. There are a number of different ways to accomplish it. Finger wiping is the easiest on raised letters.
 
You telling me you can powder an already powdered part? i thought it needed to be blasted clean due to the electromagnetic aspect. I ask this because i have a Dresda swinger already coated but i forgot to remove some tabs beforehand. Now you telling me i can sendit to the coater to do only the parts that need touch-up?

Is this a common way and so, just as good or is it kinda hack-jobbish?
 
The blue parts with lots of flake you guys have been seeing were for my Vulcan. Joe and Tim did a good job with my parts getting the dent out of the tank and the flake is nice and consistent

Here's everything on the bike. Unfortunately it's cloudy today so you can't really see the flake, but man when it's bright out, it's hard to ignore ;)
