    Bikes and parts for sale

Well, don't want to, but I have to: ************************ I have a 1975 CB750F, titled, in my name. This is a project bike with a good 1978 F motor, a 4-into-1 exhaust, spare engine for parts, good tires, powdercoated wheels, and lots of other spare parts, like CB900F calipers and rear...

    Tubing Bender

This is a stressed-member frame: so is this: This is not: Neither is this: And neither is the featherbed. My CB450 uses a head steady but the engine isn't a stressed member. My bike and the Norton will run just fine without the head steady, if less precise in corners.

    thanks Big Rich!

The broken pin is the extractor pin. I needed the rivet pin, which worked just fine. I'm not going to put the engine in until I fix the cam covers - you can't really mess with these in the frame so well. It's a huge PITA.

    thanks Big Rich!

The right tool for the job makes life a lot easier. Cam chain master links take 3 minutes with the right tool. Rich, thanks again! Also: what kind of incredible P.O. dickhead strips not one, but *6* of the bolts that hold two cam covers on? I'm going to be helicoil'ing all freaking day. >:(

    two-stroke rebuilds in PA?

Does anyone around here know a good shop for two-stroke work? I need bore job and new big/small end bearings put in my dirtbike. I obviously can't do the bore job or a crank rebuild, but I can split the cases. I won't if the shop is reasonable, though...
