At the end of last summer, I installed new Dyna coils, a Bore-Tech electronic ignition and a Rick's Motorsport Electrics charging coil. I followed the instructions for each component and wired everything back up the way it looked when I started... with the new components installed. The days were...

It's a thin line between love and hate

Does anyone else have a bipolar relationship with their bike? There are times when I am so proud of it and want to shine the shit out of it. Then there are times (like now) when I want to pour gas all over it and set it on fire. My bike has been "under re-construction" for most of the...

Valve/Cam chain adjustment (Carb reinstall/Ignition/timing questions)

I spent the day doing the valve adjustments on my CL350 yesterday. It was easier than I thought and harder than I thought at the same time. I had the hardest time doing up the locknut for the adjustment without overtightening the valve clearance. I would have the feeler gauge in there with the...

Running rough and hesitation on acceleration

I went riding today and my bike is running kinda rough. It's fine when it's idling. When you accelerate it feels like it is hesitating and rough.
