I just picked up a GS850L earlier this week to use for some light turing with my honey. I was checking all the nuts and bolts last night and managed to snap off an upper shock mount. What is the best method of repairing this?

Is anyone using a se of the rear set adapters from Disco Volante Moto for the 350? I'm just wondering how they mount and what they look like on the bike. Here is a link to them.

Here is a heat sink I made for my Radio Shack rectifier. I couldn't find a sutiable heat sink so I made one. It will mount like the old rectifier in the bracket, so it solves the mounting issue. Enjoy!

I have been having fueling issues with my 350 so I took the carbs off again to check them over again. I had rebuilt them early last season so I wasn't expecting there to be much wrong with them. Just wanted to check the float heights and make sure a spider hadn't mad a nest in one.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find the spring for the rear brake light switch for a cb350? It would be part numer 8 on this diagram.

Either my dog ate it or it is lost in my shop. I plan on tearing...
Ok, I am about to start putting everything back together on my CB350 and I have a quick question. What does everyone use for preparing gaskets? I have used RTV in my previous career as an auto tech, but I don't like the idea of the exess getting squished out and ending up in the already...
This might be a long shot, but does anyone know what type of chain is used for the timing chain onthe cb350? Is it a standard roller chain such as an ANSI or ISO number? Any engineers out there that might know?
Josh
Just wanted to pose a question. Seeing as how the cb350's don't have any way to hook a manometer up to them, would it make any sence to make a short carb spacer with a vacuum port in it and place it between the isolator and the head? I'm running Uni filters so the set back of the carbs isn't a...
I went out to my garage this morning to find the back half under an inch or two of ice. The rain we had last night ran into the shop and then froze. The lawnmower, waste oil bucket, and an engine stand are froze tight to the floor. Luckly, it didn't get up high enough to get to some parts I...
Last fall the cam in my 350 roached out on me. It wiped out one of the end bearings and the lobes and rockers on the left side. Since then I got a second motor with the plan to swap the top ends. After opening it up I found one tip of a rocker arm to have quite a bit of pitting.
One question...
The lobes on the left cylinder are wiped out on my bike. Is it a bad idea to buy a used set of rockers and cam to get me through the summer or should I just bite the bullet and shell out the $600 to get new stuff from Megacycle Cams? I don't feel like half assing it but I can't afford the new...
Just thought I'd share that my darling wife took her first ride on the bike, or any bike for that matter. She wanted to go to the store the other day. I asked if we should take the bike an she replied "let me try on the spare helmet". That was her first ride. Then a few day after that I was...

For those of you with cb350 twins, what size tires are you running? I am looking at either 90/90 front 100/90 rear or 100/90 front 110/90 rear. I can get either of these sizes in an Avon AM26 RoadRider. Just wondering if the larger size set will clear the stock fenders or does is larger size...
Does anyone know of a source for gas tank parts? ie: bungs, filler necks, etc.
I have been tossing around the idea of pounding out a somewhat simple tank. We'll see how simple it is after I get rolling on it.
Just saying hello. Just joined up after checking out the site for a while.
A little about myself. I am a Tool and Die Machinist working in the plastics field. I live in eastern Wisconsin. And I just started riding this past fall.
I bought a CB350 that I plan on fixing up, tweeking it out...
