...especially the first one ("The Blaster").... Does anyone know of a helmet here in the States in this style?

Bike is on the verge of true rideability, just in time for Mods vs Rockers here in San Diego (this weekend).... One thing is that with the new tires (Firestone rear, Avon Speedmaster ribbed front), the bike is sitting higher and leans a bit farther than I'd like on the side stand....
Does...
So I've removed the support rod, rear brake adjuster nut and the cotter pin and axle nut, and jacked up the rear so the tire's just off the ground, but now what? The Clymer manual just says 'remove the axle' or 'pull out the axle' or something like that, but it doesn't seem quite that simple...
On a '74 honda, are all four turn signals required for them to work? I'd prefer to just run rears, but am having trouble getting anything to work.
Thanks!
Big ups to Portnoy and Cafebelan for helping me out with a top triple tree and forks for my CL450 and big ups to everyone else for all the help/info/entertainment (either direct or indirect) since I started this project!!
Got an Avon Speedmaster MkII front tire at the local shop today, lookin'...
A 'friend' of mine claims this is his old CB450 which had two exhausts per cylinder making for a twin with a 4-into-1 exhaust.... ?????

I've been looking around on craigslist here in the SoCal area and I've been seeing a good number of used Yamaha XTs (various displacements from 225-350) in the $1500 and under range.... Are these a good bike? What others might be good to look for? I'm interested in staying in that under...
I'm not buyin' it (literally OR figuratively)..... But hey... the dude's open to trading a whole bike for it......................

Letting a regression test run itself all day here at work so surfin the web quite a bit, and came across a style of Docs I've never seen before.... They look pretty badass to me...

....not commenting on the price, or the ad itself or anything in any way negative, just sayin'..... that's purdy......

Hey all, I really need at least one, probably better to get two fork tubes for my 1974 Honda CL450. I know CB450 will also work, but not sure about others, so if anybody DOES know any others that will work, please let me know...
Thanks!
Hey all.... So a buddy came over to help with a few things on the bike last night, one being the apparent slight wonkiness of the front end.... At the end of the day it became clear that the left fork is bent (maybe the right, didn't bother measuring since the left was bad enough to see...
Specifically the one down below with the Japanese flag graphic.... I saw one in a shop here in SD with the bubble shield on it.... really cool, I'm just trying to talk myself out of a 3/4 helmet.....

It looks pretty good to me, and I liked their service with the shocks I bought from them, so was wondering whether anybody on here has one and what they think of it.
The lines look nice for a fully-upholstered seat...

I'd buy it if I hadn't JUST bought a great Cobra Mark 2 off of craigslist and/or if I could justify another $200 or so bucks at the moment....
Hope someone on here finds it useful!
Hi all...
So I took the mufflers off of my stock pipes because I really don't like the look of them on a cafe bike. The bike sounds really good, but maybe a bit too loud.
I'm thinking of putting a couple of the small Supertrapps on and was wondering if anybody's used 'em on a Scrambler...
Need one to replace the one I broke :-\ I don't really know about parts interchangeablity of parts on CB/CLs so if you have anything that will work, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!
