completed.
just noticed this........not a good thing to do! once a gauge is done you should not flip it upside down in just in case there is something inside it so it does not end up on the glass or face, yea i had it happen to me...

Man, keep the updates coming because this thing is looking trick as hell! Also, I've gotta send you a PM sometime because I am going to school for A&P mech right now so it'd be good to hear from someone that's been there and done that.

i really need to get off my ass and get some of the big stuff finished up but sometimes arts and crafts items are fun too........ha
all i'm going to say is do what you love, airlines are not the best place for a talented guy as they tend to lock you in one area(what they call specialist) now adays which can limit your exposure to all the different facets of the aircraft. years ago a guy could bid a job learn it go somewhere else learn that and so on. but there are plenty of other options in aviation- good luck and watch those big rotating parts! ha
enjoy the weekend, joe@vcycle

Very nice. I plan on using a little bike speedo like that. But mine wont have a housing like yours. Most likely zip tied to the handlebars or something :'( Great work!!!!

You wouldn't believe the amount of zip ties used on pro race cars and bikes. Light weight, strong and cheep!

..
had to hardwire the bike speedo and make some miniature connectors.... the connector was added in case speedo is polarity sensitive and to make the hole in the guage plate smaller.
the clip on adapter on the right is no longer used..
