On a race bike with a tall screen, we tuck in behind them on a long straight, but 99% of the time we look over the screen. If that works for you, just paint it black or any other color you like. Just thinking outside the box.
Thanks guys. Teazer, I may end up just painting it black depending on how the screen itself turns out. I'd rather have the screen though so will try my best to do it. I've test sat on the bike and the screen shape should work fine and to be honest, for the type of riding I'll be doing, it will be functional enough. No track anywhere near here so just street riding. I mainly did it for both the looks and because I love trying to make things, if it doesn't turn out the way I want it will be scrapped and I'll just go with the traditional headlight. Should know better in a week or so.
